Nazis. I hate these guys. And they seem to be popping up a lot these days, wrapped in flags and carrying crosses (or sticks).

Case in point, a fellow named Kyle Chapman. In 2017, he was photographed using his big stick to pummel counter-protesters in Berkeley, California. Soon after, he earned the moniker "Based Stickman" from his peers and founded a group called the Fraternal Order of Alt-Knights (FOAK). The organization was intended to function as the “tactical defense arm” of the Proud Boys, a group of alt-right bigots who refuse to share their toys with other boys and girls. Especially girls.

I created these images as part of an online campaign designed to ridicule and expose Chapman and his nascent brownshirts — or redhats, as the case may be. What does F.O.A.K. stand for, anyway? Some suggest the best way to counter fascism is through reasoned argument and debate. Personally, I'm not inclined to listen to someone threatening to beat me with a stick.
